The Swedish-Zambian Association has since its start in 1974 aimed at providing information about Zambia and supporting development there. Our members have a great deal of knowledge and experience about the country.
The Mindolo project
In 2005, the Swedish-Zambian Association started a project in Zambia called “Youth’s Rights Information Centre” in co-operation with the Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation in Kitwe. The main objective of the project is to help young people in the Copperbelt Region to learn more about Human Rights, Gender and HIV/Aids, in order for them to influence their lives in a positive direction.
